Snowflake in Spring is open to registration!

October 21, 2007 at 11:13 pm · Posted by Snowflake · (Visited 405 times)

This batch updates includes:

  • Anyone can now register to become an author! You’ll be able to pretty much write anything you want so long as it is related to anime, Japanese culture or music. I really want to create the sort of community and atmosphere you find in forums so I want lots of user input and enthusiasm :D I’ll look at getting round to posting a set of guidelines, perhaps in an admin section that can only be accessed by members.
  • My promised avatars are finally here! To get your own simply create an account here and use the email address you provide in your comment.
  • Added more thing to the to-do list (huh?)
  • Changed the theme. Ok, more of a downdate but the previous one (the one which most people missed that replaced the original somewhat buggy one) wasn’t really suitable for this type of site, even though it did look good. As a result I decided to turn to the this simpler theme while I work on the new design.

    Alex,

If you would like to have your very own blog at animeblogger.net you can contact our grand super admin maestro and request a sub domain by first reading this post. Please note however, that unless your blog is predominately about anime or manga you will not be able to find hosting here. On that note however, depending on what exactly your record label does, you are free to contribute to this site pending a review of any posts.

You can use basic html tags for links (<a href="link location">Text to be linked</a>) and images (<img src="img location" alt"title" />) as well as formatting (text-align, color and font size). Use the preview area to check if you've got it right. Please use <spoiler>Content to be hidden</spoiler> to hide things. Maybe I should create a little guide on this...
