At last I have some time on my hands…but not for long…
I’m going to be traveling to Malaysia and Vietnam for 7 weeks come December. I should be able to get internet access for most of the time but no guarantees there.
Any way it’s about time I started my campaign. Someone care to start me off? I’m taking a very random approach here…
Ah what a series! The collection of songs here from ‘The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi’ up for download include the OP and ED as well as those great insert songs from Episode 12.
Bleach: Memories nobody came out in Japanese cinemas on December 16, 2006. Just over six weeks ago on September 5, 2007, the DVD version was released. There’s only two months to go until the second movie, The DiamondDust Rebellion, hits the big screen in Japan! Anyway, I recently got a request from a friend who had watched the movie for the ending theme. Well I’ve had it for a while so it was more then enough reason to upload it.
Well really a completely non-anime song but I’ve decided to reserve this spot for all music other then anime.
I really like this song. It has a simple but pleasant vocals and ostinato. The beats are not too excessive yet still hold that driving energy.
This batch updates includes:
- Anyone can now register to become an author! You’ll be able to pretty much write anything you want so long as it is related to anime, Japanese culture or music. I really want to create the sort of community and atmosphere you find in forums so I want lots of user input and enthusiasm
I’ll look at getting round to posting a set of guidelines, perhaps in an admin section that can only be accessed by members.

- Changed the theme. Ok, more of a downdate but the previous one (the one which most people missed that replaced the original somewhat buggy one) wasn’t really suitable for this type of site, even though it did look good. As a result I decided to turn to the this simpler theme while I work on the new design.
The new version of WordPress is so much more efficient! Hey there~ haven’t really been done anything here for a long while. I just dropped by occasionally to moderate comments and the like. But now I am really back (to a certain someone who may read this I am COMPLETELY dedicated and focused on my goal). First thing on the agenda is to put this little spot back together, collaborate existing music and create a system to maintain it. Secondly I want to spice up the place, a bit more bang and whiz. Third and perhaps most important is to begin my campaign to bring art and creativity together. Manga and music, fanart and more, I aim to produce a resource of entertainment.
Sure it may be ambitious but as long as there is something to aspire to many things can be accomplished. My movement towards this goal has already begun but I have yet to truly see the light of dawn until after my exams…
Please bare with me but I’ve just found out that my file host has reduced my monthly usage allowance from 20gb to 5gb. Consequently I now find my self suddenly out of bandwidth so unfortunately music will be unavailable for another 15 days(?). I’ll see what I can do for a new host or additional host(s). It’s also about time I actually host the flash music players on snowflake.animeblogger.net rather then have it off-site.
While I’m at it I may (key word there) upload some new music. Since uploads don’t count towards my internet connection plan (a fact I continue to forget) I should really be uploading more frequently but at a max of 25kbps it can be a pain sometimes…
